Where can one invest these days?
Mr. Stoneandbelter: "The investing range is so large that we would not be able to list it even if we had a whole day. Our program is custom-made to fit each interested party. We have to know the client well. It is not even a point of how much they want to invest, but of rather how they want to invest. How do they think, how conservative they are and how much they are inclined to risk. We know the overall distribution of the client's wealth, which is reflected in other steps, logically rearranging the portfolio as a whole. In this we follow a system of three-part property distribution."
Tell us, where to invest?
Mr. SB: "Besides real estates and gold, of which probably anyone can think, we help with the investments into commodities, silver and other precious metals, for example in the form of commemorative coins. Besides purchasing houses and apartments, there are interesting opportunities in the lands for future development or an agricultural land, which is constantly diminishing. Investments in specific projects are very promising."
How do you judge the investment's profitability?
Mr. SB: "Daily there are new opportunities and it takes a lot of work to map them. Our task is primarily to understand the client's needs. Then we evaluate the profitability and the composition. We compare A and B and we go to the client. That is the work of the investments department. I will give you an example: There is a boom of buying physical gold now. Are you able to determine, whether it is really for you and your needs? What is the behaviour of a commodity in crisis? That is what we are here for."
What should be avoided?
Mr. SB: "The answer is simple. Avoid easy ways. Those things, which someone crams all the way to your mailbox. 99% of the products are set up to be interesting for the companies which offer them, not for our clients. We know how to find the remaining 1%, but it is often a painstaking analytical work."
Do you think that a normal person is not able to recognize a disadvantageous offer?
Mr. SB: "Well, I tend to be a bit sceptical in this. The products are formulated by experienced creative brains of the advertising agencies, to be as seductive as possible. If you add to this the low financial literacy here in Czechia, you get a recipe for trouble."
Do you distribute the investments according to some kind of key?
Mr. SB: "We have four basic areas: custom portfolios made to directly fit the risk profiles of our clients, conservative forms of savings, VIP investments consulting from one million CZK up and so called alternative forms of investments into specific projects."
